Location Portraiture: DJ Danny Disc

The aim with any portrait is to provide the viewer with an insight into the person being photographed. The great thing about location portraiture is that it enhances the insight.

The shoot with DJ Danny Disc took place during a time in the pandemic when we were limited in available indoor areas for shooting. For safety purposes we were carrying out shoots which allowed for safe social distancing. With this in mind we carried out the shoot on a local beach.

To create more of a feel of what Danny does we did an evening shoot and created a series of images with light trails. The light trails were shaped to look like sound waves.
